EVENT PACING LOOKUP
Pick a market and event date to see cumulative ticket sales pacing vs. last year
This year (CY)Last year (PY)Trend (projected)
Pace by future travel week
Recent booking volume for each upcoming travel week (Monday–Sunday) in the selected market, vs. the weekday-aligned equivalent week a year ago. This is the season-wide view (not specific to the single event date selected above).
How this works: for the selected event date, we look at every ticket purchase recorded for that specific session and group it by how many days before the event it was bought, then accumulate day by day. The "last year" line uses the equivalent weekday one year earlier so demand patterns line up fairly.
Data limitation: our exports are a snapshot window — not a full historical database. All five markets are now current through Oct 4, 2026. Denver's earlier Sep 1–5 gap (in both years) has been backfilled. Each market still has the main Jul–Aug gap in the underlying export, from about Jul 19–22 through Aug 15–17, 2026 (and the equivalent stretch in 2025). All gap days are marked as missing (not zero) in the chart, so totals for nearby travel dates are understated in both years, symmetrically. For event dates beyond a market's window, bookings made very close to the event haven't happened yet (or weren't captured) in either year, so both lines stop at the same point and the rest is a simple projection, not real data.
